DRUG ABUSE AND RECOVERY: THE TOPIC FOR AUG. 24 BEACON & EGGS

The next Beacon & Eggs, the popular series of town-hall style meetings sponsored by the St. Louis Beacon and KTRS, will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, August 24, outside the KTRS studio in the West Port Shopping Center.  Join us as moderator McGraw Milhaven and Beacon editor Sally Altman interview Sgt Jason Grellner of the Franklin County Sheriff's office, Dan Duncan of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and Percy Menzies, president of Assisted Recovery Centers of America.

Meet Beacon and KTRS staffers and enjoy coffee and breakfast pastries from 8-9 a.m. The panel discussion will be broadcast live from 9-10 a.m. on KTRS 550-AM, and the audience will be invited to ask questions. This event is free and open to the public. Feel free to bring a friend.

DIRECTIONS TO KTRS

KTRS is in the West Port Plaza shopping center east of Interstate 270 and north of Page Boulevard. Parking is free on the outdoor lots surrounding the center. The KTRS studios are on the second floor in the building that also houses the Funny Bone nightclub and the Drunken Fish restaurant. (It also used to house Ozzie's restaurant.)
