BEARY NICE HOLIDAY GIFTS

The beary nice gifts that keep on giving....

Students at Saul Mirowitz Day School-Reform Jewish Academy, hold some of the new baseball and football attired bears they re-gifted to families whose holiday will be brighter because of the St. Louis Post Dispatch’s 100 Neediest Cases program.

The Saul Mirowitz Day School/Reform Jewish Academy kids are participating in the Adopt A Family program that was organized at the school by The Granick Family.

The bears were originally donated to Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis by Build A Bear Workshop for Press Club’s Jack Buck National Media Person of the Year gala on Nov. 28. See pictures

Press Club gave the remaining bears from the event to SMDS/RJA for their Adopt A Family program, the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, and University City School’s Adopt A Family program .

The Press Club dinner/roast honoring Joe Buck raised $100,000 for its Scholarship Program for underserved, worthy journalism and communications students. (from left): Amy Granick, Matthew and Rebecca Bloom and Jacob Granick.
