Margaret Freivogel, a former assistant managing editor at the Post-Dispatch, is the editor of The Saint Louis Platform, a nascent online site that will provide enterprise journalism and commentary for and about the St. Louis region. Freivogel hopes to launch The Platform by the end of the year

William Freivogel, former assistant editor of the Post-Dispatch editorial page, is now the director of the School of Journalism at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Associate Professor with the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute. He is also helping with The Platform.

Terry Ganey is the projects editor for the Columbia Daily Tribune, a former state capital bureau chief for the Post-Dispatch and a former correspondent for the Associated Press. His disclosure of Missouri's Second Injury Fund scandal helped send seven men to federal prison and made him one of three finalists for the Pulitzer Prize in investigative reporting. He has written two New York Times bestsellers. As an embedded journalist with the U.S. Army, he covered the Iraq War in 2003
