The Press Club is a professional, social and charitable organization of people who make, cover and influence the news. Our members are reporters, editors, news directors, anchors, columnists, professionals in advertising and public relations, and others who may be sources of news. It is a true “umbrella” organization for those in the communications professions.
Seminars and meetings are held at various locations in the metropolitan area.

Networking

Joining the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis is a great way to meet people who share your goals. Through stimulating forums and meetings, you network with other communication leaders in the area, debate professional issues, exchange ideas and make valuable contacts.

Social Activities

Social activities for members and guests have included concerts, nights at the theater, weekend trips, tours of foreign lands, golfing, tours of new attractions, sporting events and after-work events at various places. Members are interesting people, who are interested in their work and community

How Can I Make A Difference?

The Press Club sponsors the Media Person of the Year dinner every spring. The dinner roast is one of the biggest Press Club events of the year and has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for scholarships, internships and other worthy causes. The St. Louis Library’s Media Archives were started and are maintained by the Press Club. The Missouri Historical Society and the Mercantile Library maintain archives with Press Club donations.

Take 40 west and exit to south on Chesterfield Parkway. Turn east onto south outer 40 and immediately turn right (south) onto Schoettler Road. Drive approximately 1 mile to the Logan College entrance on the right. Park in visitors parking lot and go to main entrance, reception area for directions to the Board Room.
