“The State of Radio Today” forum  March 30th at Webster University’s library drew a capacity crowd of members and communication students. Frank Absher, (standing) St. Louis radio historian, columnist, and journalism instructor, moderated a lively discussion between panelists, Bernie Hayes, Webster communications instructor and author of Death of Black Radio, Dave Ervin, vice president and general manager of KMOX Radio; Mike Anderson, former St. Louis radio personality and performer and editor/publisher of STLMedia web site; and Annette Bevel, general manager of WILY/WRXX.
